Saturday Sermon ...

I pulled a few excerpts from a beautiful post
by a beautiful friend.
I hope they find their mark ...

The engine bay was a maze of plastic shields and sensors.
Modern cars are built like modern egos ~
impressive to look at, but fragile when things get real.

I realized then that I had spent years
worrying I was becoming a relic,
waiting for a seat at a table that didn't have room for my soul.

You spend the first half of your life
trying to fit into other people's houses,
and the second half realizing that you are the house.

The road is open, the sky is deep,
and the best view in the world
is wherever you decide to stop.
