It is hard
to throw stones
if you are busy
washing feet.
What are you putting your energy into?
Are you sharing and shedding light ...
or feeding an ugly, hateful beast?
You can not like something or someone
and still be a beacon -
that is the purpose of a lighthouse -
to stand amidst the crashing waves
and lead people to someplace safe.
