Comfort

Although the joints may creak,
and parts may surely ache,
wrinkles may increase,
and the gray hair appears,
eyesight's diminished,
hearing's impaired,
still ...
there is a comfort in aging.

Comfort in your beliefs.

Comfort in your past.

Comfort in your soul.

Comfort in your choices.

Comfort in your voice.

Comfort in your quiet.

Comfort in your skin.

Comfort in your self.

Sunshine

When there is darkness,

God's Choice

So ... I have this preacher pal
that I'm rather close to
who gave a sermon a short bit ago
and a certain phrase really struck a chord.

It was in reference to benevolence:

If you are aware

of a need,

you probably are

God's choice

to meet that need!

Now ... go back and read that again.

We don't always realize the simplistic

yet enormous weight

of that very incredibly true statement.

give kudos for the effort,

speak of sparkly eyes,

give praise for inner beauty.
