LOVE This

Sometimes,
things just really
touch me.
There really
REALLY
needs to be
more of this:

Admire and compliment
someone else's beauty
without questioning
your own.

Void

I keep a writing book
with me at work
(thank you Kelly).
When I am inspired,
or moved,
or impelled to write,
I do.

This,
for whatever reason,
came out of my pen
last week.

Sometimes,
I surprise myself.

When we go,
we leave a void ~
which is defined as:
an empty space.
The trick, dear friends,
is to turn that negative
into a positive,
and that void
into a soulful and peaceful place
of celebration and thanks.

Saturday Smash

Here's a little combo for you
to start your weekend
and perhaps inspire you:

People may hear your words,
but they feel your attitude.
Our prime purpose in life
is to help others.

So, if those two things are true,
then, with a positive attitude,
we can be an uplifting source
to other humans.

Let's give that a try, shall we?

Ch-Angel Susan

And there,
toward the end
of a rather trying week,
sat an unassuming
tissue-wrapped gift
at my desk.
A simple heart
adorned the paper.
Under many layers
there appeared
an Angel tapestry.
My heart swelled.
My eyes leaked.
My soul smiled.
Thank you!
You make it better.

For my friends ...

There are certain folks
that have touched my life
who epitomize this ...

And God said:
"Send them without wings
so no one suspects
it's an Angel."

You know who you are.
Thank you.

Stories

So, sometimes,
I see things and
am immediately impacted
by its weight or truth or simplicity.
This one got me this morning.
Not sure why, but it did.
What are your thoughts?

Stories always go on.
They don't end
on the last page,
any more than
they begin
on the first page.

Searching

By Rumi,
this quote just seemed
to reach out to me today.
Perhaps someone is in need ...

Maybe you are searching
among the branches
for what only appears
in the roots.
