So the Wharton quote goes like so:

There are two ways of spreading light:
to be the candle
or the mirror that reflects it.

It does not say:
blows the other candle out
because you think your candle's better.
It does not say:
pours gas on your candle
so yours can burn bigger.
It does not say:
removes wick from other candle
so yours is the only light.

It says:

BE the light.
Or a reflection of it.

Find a way to shine
or help someone else to do the same.
