Today I celebrate
the arrival of my son
for the 28th time!

Nothing has been mundane,

not much has been simple,

some days gut-wrenching,

some days nerve-racking,

some days joy overflowing,

some days tears never-ending,

some days non-stop laughter,

some days powerfully proud,

some days in awe,

some days in question,

but 

always, always, always

in blessed love and amazement.
