in someone's heart
and mind,
even long after
you forgot
you spoke them.
So be kind,
say nice things,
lift others up,
offer compliments,
be positive.
Last week,
while cashiering,
a young gentleman
finished his purchase,
put his change away,
looked me straight on
and said,
"You have the most
beautiful eyes
I've ever seen."
And walked away.
I was completely overwhelmed.
A simple sentence,
left a very lasting impression.
