Branching Out

Consider all the different trees:
the mighty oak,
the weeping willow,
the swaying palm,
the majestic redwood,
the beautiful cherry,
the fragrant spruce,
the branch-bearing olive,
the lovable evergreen,
and so many, many more.
Each grows independently.
They don't fight each other for space.
They don't kill each other off.
They provide shelter, food, air, and beauty.
None is more important or vital than any other.
Each simply exists in its own splendor.
The leaves are different.
The fruit is different.
The sizes and shapes are different.
The bark is different.
Barked lives matter.
Every life matters.

Hmmmmm
