Happened upon a post
from an extraordinary friend
that went something like this . . .
We pray for cake.
We are given
flour, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla,
and even icing
and complain or leave the kitchen.
We wanted cake!
We must learn to realize
that we are given a majority
of the ingredients we need
to get what we want.
We simply need to apply ourselves,
roll up our sleeves,
and be willing to get it together
to have what we're searching for.
