There is kindness out there.
Little drops of unrequested compassion

whose hearts have known aching,
whose lives have been touched by others,
whose days have been improved by love,

There is no focus on reciprocation.
No expectation of accolades.
No hope of glory and grandeur.
Just the quiet beauty of offering themselves
for the betterment of someone else.
