Seems appropriate for election time.
Each day that you are blessed and lucky enough
to emerge from your bedroom,
you have a choice:
Happy or Crappy.
Each idiot driver that cuts you off, doesn't let you in,
weaves through traffic,
you have a choice:
Arrive Alive or Road Rage.
Each bit of stupidity that affronts your day,
deserves a choice:
Point Your Shoes in Another Direction or Join the Circus.
Each hurdle, roadblock, setback you come to,
you have a choice:
Persist or Collapse.
Our political votes may not mean much,
but the choices you make each day are
simple but extraordinary!
