Oh ... the journey.
It is not always paved.
In fact, sometimes it's just an inkling of a path
into a scary unknown.
It is never straight.
It is full of switchbacks, walls, cliffs and dead-ends.
You might get lost, wander, wonder,
change direction completely.
But the journey really is the destination.
What you see and who you meet,
what repels you and what inspires you,
what you learn and what you absorb,
fears you overcome and strengths you find,
will forever be hidden
if you do not ever embark at all.
