I have a terrible tendency to volunteer a bit too much. My family has told me for years that I need to learn to say, "N . . . O . . . !" I tell them that when I begin to do so, the person doing the asking usually just follows that up with a "W!"
William Penn expressed the theory of "NOW" quite eloquently in this little tidbit.
I expect to pass through life but once.
