and the agony of defeat!
Tonight begins the Summer Olympic games and I know there will be millions of eyes glued to the tv sets watching the ceremony. Unfortunately, I will be working this evening, and as much as I would love to watch the Opening Ceremony, I am completely stoked to be absorbing all the sports that will be coming afterward.
To witness all the record-breaking, the tears, the sweat, the dedication and to listen to all those heart-wrenching stories of tenacity and grit for just a few moments of competing at something these athletes truly adore, is very empowering! Sometimes those wins are by only milliseconds or by hundredths or thousandths of points. It is truly awe inspiring.
Of course, we'll be glued to gymnastics, track & field, swimming and water polo. What will you be watching?
